Demonstration of an experiment
Video is often used to visually represent certain actions or to show hazardous experiments. Sometimes a picture can say more than thousand words and this is especially true when certain techniques need to be explained.
Instructions
- Try to have different perspectives of what you are filming. If you're recording an experiment, first take some time to record a few shots of all the necessary materials, from a distance and/or up close.
- Focus directly on the subject of the movie. If you're shooting from too far away you will lose details and quality.
- Determine your frame before you begin filming and note that excessively zooming in and out will probably annoy the viewer.
- Use the tripod where possible, but rather than zooming in, position the camera closer as this is more natural.
