Counting numbers - Five Little Ducks (Malta)
The video clip Five Little Ducks is a stop-motion animation which preschool students made in class. The target students are preschool students. As an exercise in counting the numbers backwards, the children learnt the nursery rhyme, 5 little ducks, so it was with great enthusiasm that they agreed to animate the ducks. The stop-motion animation was produced and entered in the MEDEA Awards 2008 by Miriam Schembri of the Fgura Primary School in Malta. More information: http://www.medea-awards.com/five-little-ducks
Real-life multimedia-supported Cluedo game - Anti-Anti (Belgium)
This multimedia supported pervasive game was created by secondary school students of the Sint-Lievenscollege Gent (Belgium) to sensitise students for a national day against useless violence. Students participating in this 50 minute game had to search a fictitious murderer in their school through clues provided in mp3-files and video clips. The mini lecture Appreciative Inquiry shown above is part of the ASBCAST Mini Lectures from the Aarhus School of Business (ASB), University of Aarhus in Denmark, which are short talking head videos that discuss several subjects of business communication. The viewer (student, teacher of external person) gets a short introduction to a theory, an issue or a current problem from the perspective of researchers from ASB. These mini lectures are targeted at students of degree programmes at bachelors and masters level in business and communication studies at ASB, with an age range between 19 and 28 years old.
