Fiction (Film)
In fiction or film, the actors and actresses are not real and only play particular roles. Film allows for a high level of manipulation: scenes can be recorded and edited in such a way that multiple interpretations are possible to mislead viewers. A movie is not recorded in one entire take and shots are not necessarily recorded in chronological order. There is much work to be done, solely for the editing part alone.
Instructions
- Prepare your script
- Research and find the right accessories and locations
- Practise with the actors
- Dedicate as much time to editing as to recording
- Set up a team, because you have to take many aspects into account during the recordings which you alone won't be able to handle or solve
