Metadata schema for the EduTubePlus video-based Learning Scenarios

Based on the Pedagogical Framework for the effective use of video in class, currently under development, partner RACTI in cooperation with ATiT and other project partners, has recently completed the definition of the EduTubePlus Learning Scenario Application profile.

The generic EduTubePlus video-based Learning Scenario Structure which was decided by the pedagogical experts as part of the EduTubePlus Pedagogical Framework, served as input for the definition of the full EduTubePlus metadata record set for video-based Learning Scenarios.

A conceptual data model for video-based Learning Scenarios was developed. The correspondence of the EduTubePlus Learning Scenario scheme with the DCMI, IEEE-LOM/EUN-LRE was analysed, which resulted in the decision to adopt the EUN-LRE v3.0 Application profile as the base scheme for the EduTubePlus Application Profile.
