Metadata schema for the EduTubePlus curriculum-related videos

Project partners UNED, Lesite.tv and RACTI, with the contribution of other partners with expertise in metadata, have recently decided on the metadata schema for the EduTubePlus curriculum-related videos.
After an analysis of the existing metadata profiles used by content providers for the description their videos, project partners decided on the set of suitable elements for the description of the EduTubePlus videos. The EduTubePlus Application Profile for video objects was then developed by combining elements from two standard metadata schemes, the Dublin Core and the EUN-LRE AP of IEEE-LOM to increase interoperability.
