Demonstration of an editing program - Difference between timeline and storyboard:

Editing programs give two possibilities of creating a sequence of images:

  • Timeline:
    This is a detailed view in time and shows where audio, titles and other elements are added. Here you can also shorten the shots.

  • Storyboard:
    This is a clear overview of the sequence in which shots are shown.
