Useful Guide to Creating your own Internet TV

"Make Internet TV" is a project conceptualised and executed by the Participatory Culture Foundation, a US-based non-profit foundation with a mission to build tools and services that give people more ways to engage in their culture.

"Make Internet TV" was funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, supporting citizen journalism and the building of community through the use of digital media and provides a very simple but useful guide with step-by-step instructions for recording and publishing Internet video. It is particularly useful for newcomers who want to get a basic start in video capture and online publication. The Participatory Culture Foundation also host Miro, a free and open-source desktop video player, built on open standards and designed to encourage decentralisation of video hosting.
